Make-up Lesson: Our make-up lessons are a hands-on approach to teach you how to apply your own make-up step by step. Proper skin care and custom foundations are provided. We ask you to wear your own make-up and bring your basic cosmetics so we can analyze the colors you are currently using. A face chart will be provided with complete application. Please request an additional service if you need eyebrow maintenance.

Seasonal Update: Our update instruction teaches new trends in make-up-seasonal change of colors and the latest beauty fashion. Very helpful for color or hairstyle change. Custom foundation provided. Face chart provided for home use.

Life Style Lesson: This lesson is for the client who wants to learn color balance. Simple and natural. Great for the beginner.

Post Surgical Application: Working closely with plastic surgeons, we will enhance your beauty with step-by-step instruction on how to take advantage of your surgical enhancement. Color balance is of utmost importance. Complete application, custom foundation and face chart provided for home use.

WEDDINGS

Weddings is our business: We are happy to provide the bride and the entire wedding party with any beauty needs for the wedding day. Cosmetics are available in a wide range of colors so everyone will have their own unique individual style of beauty.

The bride will have a consultation and a complete make-up application prior to the wedding day to see what she will look like for her special day. This is recommended to ensure that everyone is comfortable on the day of the wedding. Face charting included.

If the make-up artist is needed very early in the morning, there will be an additional cost. For your convenience, we will provide an area in our studio for your own hairstylist.

We require a 50% deposit paid at the time you make your reservation. This will secure your time and appointment. The pre-bridal appointment should be scheduled at least one month in advance to ensure that proper cleansing, grooming of brows and skin color (tanning) are all in order. This is great for your bridal shower. The balance of payment is due at the time services are performed. A fifteen (15) percent gratuity will be added to parties of three (3) or more. A credit card number is required to hold wedding date and time.

WAXING

Brows is our specialty: Beautifully groomed brows are so important to frame the eyes. We pay close attention to your needs and groom brows for appropriate face shape. Instruction is available.

We provide custom foundations and powders (our specialty) and formulate them to match your very own skin tone color, texture and coverage intensity. Color correction is available. Fleur Visage has tremendous selection, constantly updated to meet your needs.

The secret to perfectly applied make-up are Fleur Visage brushes. We love our beautiful square tortoise brushes, uniquely designed and toped with soft, sheared goat hair.

ABOUT THERESA G

A professional licensed make-up artist and skin care specialist with over 20 years experience. Theresa G. is highly trained in the art of beauty and specialized skin care. She graduated from Yamono Beauty College in 1979 and was immediately employed by Teen Magazine. She has since worked with top models, actors, actresses and in the television and motion picture area.

For the last 10 years, Theresa has been the professional make-up artist and skin care specialist at the Custom Beauty Studio. For the last six (years) and have worked with Fox KTVU applying make-up for the 49ers football players who have been on television shows with Mark Ibanez, Sports Director for Fox. Theresa also works with plastic surgery patients from the Oakland Surgery Center and Blackhawk Medical.

Theresa has traveled throughout Europe (France, Italy, England) and New York to continually build her knowledge of cosmetics and skin care through training. Her ongoing education, research and dedication to the art of beauty enable her to stay up to date with products and specialized techniques.

Theresa’s main interest lien in helping other women, through her experience and genuine care, to achieve individual self-esteem, feel good about themselves and take advantage of their own beauty.
